Remove one (1) Lilly Pilly from rear of property and replace with one (1) local native tree of growing to a minimum height greater than 5metres at maturity, anywhere on the property, within one (1) month of removal. This tree has died due to reasons unknown, it has a sparse canopy with only 20% live foliage, delaminating bark, and decay within the trunk. There is very minimal chance of recovery, without knowing the cause of decline, amelioration is unlikely to be successful.

This tree is growing into bamboo which is providing screening between the two unit blocks. It is growing out at an angle to access sun and is now leaning towards the north, down the slope which would be predominantly sand-based, there is potential for it to collapse.

This juvenile tree has trunk decay possibly caused by mechanical damage or a lesion, and while this wound may be sealed, the extent of the trunk decay is unknown. The trunk is already leaning on the boundary fence which it will inevitably damage as the tree matures and the trunk expands. It is a small specimen in fair health with sparse canopy coverage. Remove one (1) Cook Pine adjacent to rear boundary and remove one (1) Brushbox nearest to the house – refused.

Remove one (1) Eucalypt adjacent to rear property boundary. This tree has succumbed to poor health and extensive borer damage throughout the trunk; it is showing signs of stress with thinning canopy, diminished leaf size, and no new growth visible. There is also delaminating bark up the trunk for approximately 2metres, as well as epicormic growth. This tree has become a hazard which presents an unacceptable level of risk to the multiple properties under which its canopy covers. Due to the specimen’s extensive canopy coverage and prominence within the area, the replacement tree condition is to be satisfied with one (1) replacement tree and one (1) Offset Tree Planting payment. Remove one (1) Casuarina adjacent to rear property boundary - refused.
