Will the waterfront walkway/park area will get extended following this development?

Dear council the sort of development on this site is very important to the Wentworth Point area. Current development near the ferry wharf of Wentworth point is creating a very densely populated area with very little green space and already overcrowding of public transport via the bus, ferry and trains at Rhodes. Parking is a nightmare for visitors coming to the area and once the proposed marina is built this will add further to the congestion in the area. The Wentworth Point area has the potential to be a show piece for good urban planning with high density living or it could be turned into a ghetto of tall structures very little green space, bad access roads and public transport. The approval of high density dwellings I believe will be a disaster for the area.

I second Kaisa's comment - I live at Nuvolari Place and its of utmost importance to me that the waterfront walkway/park area gets extended following this development - as currently its being blocked by the warehouse currently located on this site.

Apart from that, all other concerns (borne out of development of the new towers on this site) should be carefully considered and as addressed such as -

- shadow effects by relocation of towers
- traffic flows
- change in streetscape
- change in views
- access to sunlight
- location of parking, gardens etc
- construction traffic and damage to Nuvolari Place street
- size and location of pocket park

This is ATROCIOUS. Our community of Wentworth Point DO NOT need such dense high-rise apartments to be built beyond 2019.

Due to the shortage of car parking places, we can see cars parking illegally almost everywhere, which is bothering the life of residents, and endangering the children.

The Hill road and Bennelong Pkwy are the only two roads that connect us with the other suburbs, and they are very crowded during the rush hours.

The proposed building plan is also going to block the last remaining sunshine and natural views for a lot of residents here.

In conclusion, I believe this plan is substantially conflicting with the interest of all the residents living in this suburb.

FYI, almost 600 people have signed the petition: https://www.change.org/p/parramatta-council-stop-the-building-plan-of-37-39-hill-road-in-wentworth-point

Stop the greed of the property developers in Wentworth Point. They must be stopped.

Hill Road is a dead-end street with poor public infrastructure overcrowded with densely packed new high rise appartments with a lack of parking for residents and guests. This sort of development should never have been permitted in this area and this is just adding to the problem. 287 car parking spaces for 207 units when most units would have more than one car is clearly just adding to parking the problems.
I note the petition against this development with 600 signatures (mentioned above) is 2 years old but this development is still going ahead.
