166 Newland Street, Queens Park NSW 2022
- Description
- Remove one (1) Banksia from back yard and replace with one (1) local native tree from Council’s Preferred Tree list, of minimum 45L pot size, growing to similar dimensions at maturity, anywhere on the property once landscaping is complete. Aerial imagery shows this tree to have died quickly over three (3) months. At the time of inspection, the tree was observed to have brown foliage all over, with no new growth and minimal chance of recovery. Over the past few years, the Banksia species has seen an increase in their population's sudden decline along the eastern seaboard, the cause is still unknown. It is hypothesised that the cause of the tree's decline is due to the same issue.
