So the block has already been almost completely denuded and now they want to get rid of the last few trees. Roll on the deforestation of Croydon. We've lost 30% of our tree cover in the last fifteen years. I know this isn't the fight the Council will chose to fight. On it's own it doesn't seem like the end of the world. But the pattern is established now and the trees are falling everywhere, the birds are restricted, the yellow tailed black cockatoos no longer visit me and the Noisy miners are driving out the small birds.
I lament.
