I object to an extra floor being allowed for this DA. This is just handing $ to the developer at the expense of other residents. This creates more wind tunnels and robs sunlight. Beach views belong to everyone not just those with the most influence. It seems that all the developments close to the beach are permitted a height creep. This must stop.

I agree with all that was said in the previous comment. In addition, living next to an adjacent 4 level pre-existing unit block-not only has a high wind tunnel been created in the driveway of the pre-existing building (next to my bedroom window) but, very importantly-a sound tunnel from the commercial areas/bars on the opposite side of Curlewis Street where there have been and will be in the future drinking establishments that run into the night. This has increased the decibel readings far beyond legal restrictions and is unbearable! I really feel for 136 Curlewis Street as they will now experience the stress, insomnia, the affect on my ability to work and sheer impossible situations this has caused to my living arrangements and quality of life for twenty years. Even with double glazing!
