Too many townhouses are being crammed into the area, likely causing parking issues. The council is expected to approve these developments, driven by the potential for increased revenue for Corio Council, fueled by greedy, money-hungry developers.

I know this area is now marked for higher density development. The problem I have with this design, like all the others being applied for in this area by Mr or Ms Planning & Design. The black monoliths overshadow and overlook the neighbourhood. The onsite parking design in these places requires multi point turns to shuffle cars in and out of carports & garages. Most have winders on the stairs which are both dangerous to navigate and difficult to move furniture up and down. The so-called provision of a diverse range of dwellings is ignored as so many of the new dwellings being proposed are 3 br the most common dwelling in the area already. The construction period of some that are in the erection stage now are unsafe worksites that impact the surrounds by blocking footpaths, neighbours driveways, leaving trails of mud down roads and spilling building waste, materials and equipment out into the surrounds. If the council was really interested in the welfare and growth of the neighbourhood they could show a little more care for the occupants and less for the developers.
