I've just become aware that the occ cert has still not been finalised despite our attempts. In 2023 we initiated sale contracts which is when I first became aware and spoke to Luka several times. I asked if we could get the final occ cert and was advised we had an interim occ cert and could operate on that, we didn't need a final. A potential buyer has now asked for it and will not purchase without it, and on further enquiries to council I have found out the information I was provided with was incorrect - I DO need a final certificate except now it is too late to issue one. Also the owner and manager confirmed that an inspection did take place in 2017 and the only query was over tactile indicators on the stairs which Luka was going to find out more information on. I will attach letter. Apparently our best option is a building information certificate which I am hoping you can complete asap.
