Hello I am concerned re this renewal of outdoor seating. Firstly everyday you have patrons smoking and and using Vapours with families trying to walk past . The hotel does not monitor this is a a non smoking area and there are no signs to that effect. They were taken down and not replaced. There should be signs of no smoking glued to wash table. Secondly the three planter boxes are full with cigarette butts and dead weeds. The hotel needs to be more check this and if not should not be renewed.

I object to this proposal.
The MILL is not considering the surrounding residence that have to put up with the noise, especially Fridays and Saturday nights or when there are sport events on it attracts quite a large crowd.
There is no security at the door To monitor behaviour . The patrons that attend MILL are mainly quite a young crowd and can very noisy when standing outside to smoke their cigarettes or vape, there are times when you cannot walk on the footpath because of the crowd and you have to step outside onto the road to get around them, there is nobody monitoring these patrons.
The planter boxes they have outside are at disgrace. They are a butt holder for their cigarette butts.

Immediate Objection to this proposal. The Mill has taken down “No Smoking or vaping “ signs along outside perimeter where there are tables & chairs. It is illegal to remove these signs. It is illegal to have people smoking & vaping within this close proximity metre radius. People cannot walk along this side safely as there are people smoking & vaping, drinking alcohol & smoke fumes everywhere. They are using the planter boxes with dead plants as garbage bins & ashtrays. It looks horrible & demeaning for Bondi Junction. This needs to stop for the safety & wellbeing of the public. Council must take note of this irresponsible action by The Mill Pub owners & staff.
