The surrounding road network operates with a reasonable level of service
during peak periods;
The subject development has been projected to generate up to 88 vehicle
movements to and from the site during weekday peak hours; and
The surrounding road network is considered to be capable of accommodating
the additional traffic projected to be generated by the subject development.

A complete fantasy. It is about time these traffic reports were objective and also set out the reasons why developments should not proceed instead of pure speculation based on outdated and massaged models. Reasonable, projected and considered guess work to suit an agenda.

The fact is the road network is already at and above capacity here and beyond the location.

How about Emergency Evacuation Plan BEFORE approval. Where do you quickly and safely put 110 children and 17 staff members on a busy arterial feeder road during a fire or similar emergency. What consideration to lock-down procedures? Nil..
These centres are designed to cram the people in based on an economy of scale NOT the welfare of the children. History shows these staff numbers will include part-time members not all present at the one time.

I totally agree with Luke.
Within this 500 metres, there is a proposal of 4 large childcare centres.
52 Hammers Rd Northmead NSW, 75 place Centre DA
15 Hammers Rd Northmead NSW 64 place Centre , existing
6 Hammers Rd Northmead NSW, 110 place Centre, DA
11-13 Campbell St Northmead NSW, 84 place Centre
This is insane, The traffic at the moment, in peak times is horrendous.
These new Centres will create such huge traffic conjestions. I donot believe the traffic reports from the developers. You can actually see the traffic in peak hours, donot need those scientific predictions.
I hope the authorities will come to senses & reject those DAs because of Land & Environmental & traffic reasons.
