I have objections to any further subdivision until 15th avenue has been widened, or at the very least a communicated plan on when this will be commenced and finished. It’s currently unusable in its current state of a morning, and adding more traffic to it is ludicrous

No I don't agree with any further division or developments until the proper infrastructure is put in place to support the growing numbers in Austral. Traffic is already a nightmare in the mornings and afternoons 15th Ave is ridiculous it can take 20mins from Campesi to Cowpasture Rd in the mornings.

This subdivision should be approved. The people who have paid money to get the lot registered, they will be in shambles if this is objected just on the name of traffic. Any lot which gets registered now will have a home built in atleast 12 months.

My point is most development (e.g. sub-divsions) will lead widening local roads, enhancing drainage, contributing funds etc. So, at the end, it will improve infrastructure.
It is likely a solution to achieve most your expectation about improving 15th Avenue or other surrounding roads in Austral.
And, on the other hand, people can have new homes.
Certainly, the Council must do improvements pro-actively.
Then All happy.

I'm sorry but I disagree, I purchased in Middleton Grange 10 years ago at that time they were promising wider roads a shopping centre another exit point to Cowpasture Rd yet nothing has been done they continue ti subdivide lots and populate the area yet we've seen no improvements in the 10 years that I have been living here. Getting out on to Cowpasture Rd from 15th Ave or Qantas Blv or turning into that area in the afternoon is a nightmare every year there are more people and more cars and the access points remain the same. Unfortunately it's just a whole lot of empty promises.
