The proposed development location is a high volume traffic area. Development of a childcare centre on the planned allotment of land would further increases traffic entering and exiting the adjoining roadway of Max Fatchen Drive. Increasing the probability that a fatal risk incident may occur, from more drivers entering and exiting this residential street making use of street parking to access the proposed childcare centre.

The planned location is directly opposite an entry and exit driveway for a licensed establishment. Allowing another access driveway so close to the Angle Vale Taverns access roadway would cause confusion and unnecessary congestion. Thereby creating an unsafe environment for all road users.

As a matter of public safety, another more appropriate site should be explored. Thank you for your consideration regarding the planed proposal.
