At Leo’s site abuts gardeners creek and the golf course. Many birds and fauna rely on the trees around this area for habitat and food. Trees are what makes Box Hill South a beautiful area. A creative architect could design around trees and utilise other areas of this very large development site. Thank you

According to the Whitehorse Online Services in November 2021 a developer submitted a planning application (WH/2021/1200) for:

‘Staged construction of a multi-dwelling development, together with associated landscaping works, for 148 dwellings; subdivision into 148 lots; buildings and works for dwellings, associated fencing and landscaping within 4 metres of protected vegetation in the Significant Landscape Overlay (Schedule 9); removal and lopping of vegetation in the Significant Landscape Overlay (Schedule 9) and removal of native vegetation; and buildings and works for associated fencing, wetland, road works and trails in a Land Subject to Inundation Overlay’.
