May I remind developers of the importance of the understory which makes a huge difference to animal life, cooling and carbon retention.
I would not approve of "moonscaping' this block.

Each time moonscaping of the land is allowed to happen it can years for recovery.
In the meantime the underground critters (native or vermin) Who in some have happily encased in their tunnels underneath now move on to the neighbours homes and gardens causing havoc and destruction.
Waiting for development approvals, tradies, building materials all currently dealing with ongoing delays and problems & in the meantime we have trees, vegetation, gardens that have in most cases taken years to grow and mature.
Monnscaping is not something that should be accepted as norm but a thing of the past. Environmentally and community wise.
