Considering the block is under development, it would be very convenient for the developer if these trees were removed. I would like to see Council investigate the condition of these trees independently to assess their health. Every single tree is important in the urban landscape to prevent the erosion of tree canopy cover, the destruction of wildlife habitat and reduce exposure to urban heat island effect.
