I oppose this, this will create havoc on demand for parking, there already is a high demand for parking on the area as it is and this will create further issues with parking, plus will also noise polution to the residents in the area with call to prayer playing multiple times per day over a PA system. It will also cause additional traffic to the area with a school being close by and create danger to the school children on their journey to and from school. A place of worship such as this should in my opinion not be placed close to a residential area. Please place this in an area not so close to residential homes.

I oppose this, there is already too any issue with parking, especially around the time school starts and finishes for the day. It would become to dangerous for the kids. Half the time there isn't even a traffic warden.
The community needs another shopping centre close by so they don't have to travel so far to get basics. We don't need another mosque close by. The noise level I assume will be high also.

I oppose this,
Maddington Village needs a proper shopping centre like it was before when woolworths, farmer jacks were there not another church.
A place of worship that requires prayers a few times a day sounds like a Muslim church,we don't need that at a shopping complex,we need a shopping centre not hearing prayers via a microphone a few times a day.We want peace not put another religion put on us when its not asked or wanted.
Upgrade it to a shopping complex so the people of Eastern maddington can thrive again like before. Its bloody ridiculous idea to have another place of worship.
It's a shopping complex so it should stay that way nothing else.
So keep it as a shopping complex.

I OPPOSE THIS! Please consider that there are so many places of worship in Maddington and surrounding suburbs as it is. A place of worship in this location will cause more traffic and problems! Not just parking problems either and I cannot see this being welcomed in this area- this is proposing taking away the only shops and pub close by. There will be a lot of complaints about this I understand exactly why. What most of us that are actually living in Maddington have been asking for is a shopping complex! There used to be a hairdresser, a bottle shop, a butcher, a cafe ect we need this back! We are asking for this back! Please do not approve this for a place of worship. Maddington community will not appreciate having our only shopping centre bulldozed down for yet one more place of worship. If this was cleaned up and renovated and more shops open this would bring the whole community back together. Maddington can be what it used to be, and A place of worship would only bring the people of the same faith together- not the whole community like a shopping centre would.

I oppose this also we don’t need mosque but a more friendly playground area as well as a descent shopping centre. Why can’t the playground area has a cycle path with road signs, traffic lights etc to teach the young kids in road safety & east maddington school can use it, more updates playground with exercise yard the council to have more programs at the park I know mills park gets the attention at the skate park but nothing descent for the kids as the trouble kids have been doing damage 2 cars that go near the skate park. We need it more friendly & safe, clean by the council on a regular basis like mills park & harmony fields. Family friendly restaurants & cafes also as maddington isn’t well known to have any of these at playgrounds.
The council needs to attract young families to the area not a mosque which will park on residents verges once the carpark is full, I used to shop at the centre but since I saw the way the management were treating the shop owners & they weren’t fixing the potholes in the carpark, it turned me away from it & had no choice but to go to the main shopping centre. Even chicken treat was great.
Harmony fields is great but needs something near the primary school.
So think of the families not a mosque!!

I oppose this. Would love to see shops here opened again for the local people. No need for this to go ahead.

I oppose this based on the fact it's a noise disruption to all of us that live in the area, which is residential not commerical.
This does not service, improve or beatuify the current location for this community in any way. We need new shops, a post office, definitely more police, any small business, practically anything expect a religious building. As a shift worker I don't need bells ringing while I'm trying to sleep. This would make me want to sell up and leave. So I ask how does this serve me? I'm working for one of the big miners in Perth. I pay my rates, am respectful to my community and spend my wages in the area. If this was to go ahead I'm selling and going to live and spend my money somewhere else. So ask yourself what kind of community and standard of living will the future Maddington have if you do approve this.
