I have concerns about reducing visitor parking to zero. The location of this development on a major road and next to the school means that on street parking is at a premium. This is likely to cause disruptions during school pick up and drop off time as well as potential traffic issues in the area.

Visitor parking on site must be mandated. Developments of this nature continue to be constructed with a single carspace on site; majority of dwellings of this type are inhabited by multiple adults, each of whom bring a car with them. Please don’t impose street parking congestion on nearby residents by reducing visitor parking to zero!
How on earth can parking be reduced to zero - our neighbourhood streets are filling with parked cars from under supplied parking in developments like this - just look at the units on Boronia Road near Tormore Road. Again Planning and developers create situations which they do not have to live with!
I have a concern with limited car spaces with this proposal. Bambury street is already being used for parking by units on Albert Ave, throw in the school drop off and pick up, plus the over development of one side of Bambury street how does one access the street!
This planning of five two storey dwellings without visitor parking on a major Boronia road is of great concern. This will further force cars to be parked elsewhere particularly streets neighbouring a K-12 school, a kinder/child care centre and a nearby medical practice. Catastrophic conditions for emergency services particularly in the times of school drop off, pick up and other peak times. No way to this development.
Seriously- why would someone want to build these without visitor parking? Are the garages going to be double? No one would risk their life and park on Albert Avenue. That leaves Bambury Street, already overloaded with development. No wonder Boronia is going down the gurgler with over development. Come on Council - don’t let this happen.
Seriously have the council ever come here during school pick ups.
This will cause more danger to kids trying to cross Albert Ave due to no parking on Bambury st to get to their parents cars.
It is extremely dangerous to build high destiny on such a busy corner and blocking view of cars trying to get out of Bambury st .
Living opposite this site see daily the risk to children and parents. I currently cant get into my property during this time as cars park either in my driveway or across the driveway. In 8 years living here have seen 10 cars run in to each other when the traffic is banked up coming around the corner
The amount of cars parking in front of my home is out of control as no parking on Albert Ave parking on my nature strip during the day and night has increased by 50% since buying my home
Many of these apartments on Albert Ave and Bambury st also have multiple delivers per day and again no parking left in Bambury st so again constantly pulling in my driveway leaving trucks cars while the drop off parcels.
The environment around here will also be impacted nature and native wildlife come last on Knox council's list when it comes to building mass apartments
As a Current resident of Bambury Street, the idea of visitor parking being reduced to zero is a very worrying thing. The senior school parents use this street to drop off and pick up their children as the school has closed the car park for safety reasons. As there is no stopping on Albert Avenue, they use the corner of Bambury street. There are at least 10 cars parked outside of the proposed development site from 3pm every week day. The safety of these students and the residents of Bambury street must be taken into consideration. Parking on nature strips is already happening, with less spaces there will be more of this further down the street. It is going to cause accidents if the parking is taken away. This is supposed to be a family friendly school area.
