Will the road on Connor street be widened with these new dwellings? Connor street is currently acting as a main road for cars to go through and with more houses being built the road will need to be widened as it is currently extremely narrow. Current owners on Connor street are barely getting their cars out of their drive ways without hitting the fences to 41 piccadilly street riverstone. If houses are being built directly behind the current fence line then it won't be long before a car (because most cars speed down connor street) goes through a house while driving erratically or a car goes through a house while trying to reverse out of their driveway. Connor street must be widened (hopefully the new road being constructed in this application is the expansion of connor street, if not it should be looked into being widen as a part of the development)

Yes, I second that Connor st needs to be widen. It’s getting very congested in morning hour’s
100% needed widening of Connor Street. This narrowness is also causing excuse for weekly bin collection although it’s a through road but I personally had been calling council regularly for bin service miss.
Secondly the road is causing the footpath to be used as parking for vehicles as each house hold has more than one vehicle with very small driveways so people have to walk on road along with speeding cars all the time.
Yes i agree this road needs to be widened, there are several young families with young children that now live on this street and everyone that lives on this road agrees that it is too narrow, this is a very narrow road and unfortunately a lot of drivers with no common sense speed and use this road. A lot of trades that have Ute's and trucks take up considerable amount of parking and park on semi road and semi foot paths that make the road very conjested. Even with most days making it impossible to get to the other end of the road because cars will park on the road instead of the footpath. Residents also some times cant get their bins emptied on bin night because of the excuse that the road is too narrow for the trucks to come through
Subsequently this road is a inconvenience to anyone who lives or drives on this road
If you are facing the property from piccadilly road there is a beautiful big gum tree on the left hand side along the fence line. It would be a shame to see this tree go especially since it looks like it has been around for a very long time. If 1 tree could be kept i would like this tree. Always beautiful to see as we walk by.
We are sick of the gum trees over hanging connor street fence line. They are a hazard and so dangerous to all residents, pedestrians and cars. Can the developer please come a cut them. We have been trying to get your details to request they be cut before someone dies.
When will this development start, we all want the street widened already. Will the developer be purchasing the 2 end properties before starting so the entire street is widened?
This whole LOT/House on 41 piccadily st has been so painful to all residents of connor St for more than a year now but there is no indication from council or developer as to what is the way forward or what is happening to all these trees or subdivisions and when the street is going to get widened .These trees are nothing but a nuisance creating mess and hazard to vehicles as well as people. If its not to be developed at least the council needs to maintain (these wild LOTs ) or get them maintained by the owner/developer with trees almost falling on street.
What is happening with this development?
When will the work begin?
Who is the developer?
Would be great for the community if this development could start already.
would be even better if the entire connor street became a double lane street instead of what it currently is.
If the issue for this project not starting already is due to an adjacent neighbour not allowing the developer onto their property to cut down the big gum tree that over hangs onto that neighbours property can council make the developer leave the last lot empty and turn into a little park for the community to enjoy?
That way the beautiful tree can stay, the neighbour cant stop the development from happening and the entire community can benefit with a new park and a widened road.
Just a suggestion so this project can happen already!
