Poor Sunshine Beach, Noosa Council appears to be allowing it to become like Byron Bay. A hollow shell of a place, with family homes being converted into unregulated businesses.

The location of this family home means the noise of partying occupants travels & disturbs long term neighbours, the rubbish generated will mean bins are overflowing & incorrectly used increasing landfill & multiple occupants mean insufficient onsite parking so the residential street is clogged with cars

Do not support the greed of business owners when you can support them with a genuine investment property in providing a long term roof over a local family’s head.
Family homes are needed in our school catchment zone, this home is close to the local schools and we need local families living here. Local families are the ones who patrol our beaches, spend money every week at local shops & restaurants, volunteer at Meals on Wheels - not transient partygoers who arrive loaded with pre-purchased booze & pre-purchased food, cause chaos to local neighbours then leave.

Please recognise what has happened to the Sunshine Beach community and save what is left of it by declining this application.

OMG lost count there are so many. C'mon Council, this is ridiculous. This area is not Hastings Street. You are destroying the neighbourhood.
Where do you live - those who are approving these? Look on a map and see how many applications and how many residents there are left!
Eighth application responded to! This is seriously scary.....
One of the biggest downsides to the numerous STA’s encroaching on our suburbs is the loss of residential amenity. Sometimes hard to explain but I think this describes it well!
The other day I went to pick up some locally made honey in the next street – how awesome is that -(where we used to live for 15 years) – only a couple of hundred metres from home. This would normally take me about 10 minutes.
On this occasion I was gone for 30 minutes. I was stopped or stopped to talk to by neighbours at least 6 times & another friend remarked that “sometimes it takes a long time just to walk the dog around the block.”
How lovely is that? In my street I can certainly do that across the road but not next to or behind me due to having STA’s surrounding me. A huge negative to STA’s.
This is why we live in the suburbs!
Please council do not allow this area to suffer and become a suburb of individuals - not a community!
We, the community keep this place livable. We, the community keep your jobs here. We, the community need support from council & the community.
PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW ANY MORE!
