- This development will adversely impact the neighbourhood character of the area. The scale and mass of the buildings are visually dominant and overbearing.
- There will be substantial increases in traffic and loss of street parking in the adjacent residential streets.
- A public cafe in a residential area should not be granted an exemption of appropriate parking requirements.
- The placement of an electrical substation on Fernhurst Grove is totally inappropriate in a residential street

- This development will change both the personality and character of a much loved suburb. The area is rich in history and heritage which should be protected at all costs.
- The scale of the developments are unprecedented and, if successful, will set a precedent that will change the face of our neighbourhood as we know it.
- It would be most helpful to understand from council how the dimensions of such a building are acceptable in the context of stringent residential building regulations and requirements. The photos (to scale) will be visible from my home in Barry Street which is some distance away.
- It would appear that parking and traffic at already busy intersections at peak times will be placed under greater pressure.
- As highlighted elsewhere, an electrical substation in a residential street and neighbourhood which has not required one to date is extremely unfortunate for both the neighbourhood and those in close proximity. One would hope that with a focus on ESG we should be able to rely on the existing infrastructure whilst drawing from renewable sources.
- It is only a short walk to cafes in Kew Junction and Studley Grounds and as a result I wonder if perhaps this could be considered in future plans.
