This development is likely to compound traffic congestion on Hill Road that already exists around the Hill road/ M4 and Parramatta Road access. It has poor access from both directions that would be a problem for trucks entering and leaving as well as significantly affecting traffic on Hill road that is already busy and will get busier with all the residential high rises approved in the area. A distribution centre would not be suitable for this area.

This proposed development would be located in an area which is presently congested with traffic joining Hill Road from the east bound exit of the M4, traffic travelling to Wentworth Point (including trucks servicing the waste depot, near the entrance to the Olympic Stadium) and connecting with Holker Street to connect with Silverwater Road.
For the above reasons I do not approve the granting of an application to Woolworths for a distribution centre and wareHouse.
