I am disappointed to hear that this heritage home is being turned into a day care centre.
As a close resident to this home I have not received any notification from the council.
Traffic is already a problem in Lorne Ave due to the fact we are the only street with
traffic lights to turn onto the Pacific Highway.
It will be a nuisance to the foot traffic walking to the station to have cars entering/exiting
the driveway to drop off and collect children in peak hours. Also difficult if their car park is full to find any parking on the street.
Currently there is a worksite on the other side of the road for a block of units to be built, so this will cause even more noise with the amount of trucks coming and going.
